The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is how AI assistants safely reach real tools and data. CapraSEO ships an MCP server for SEO: connect your favourite MCP client and it gains 42 tools over your domain’s health, backlinks, referring domains, keywords, competitor gap and the link marketplace. You create a per-account token — scoped to all your data or a single project, with data refreshes allowed or read-only — and your assistant can answer from your live numbers.

Create a bearer token scoped to all your data or one project. Reads are read-only by design and cannot trigger a paid data pull. A read-only token can never spend; a token with refreshes allowed quotes the price first and charges only when you confirm.

What is an MCP server?

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server exposes tools and data that AI assistants can safely call. CapraSEO’s MCP server gives your assistant access to your SEO data: reads are free, and fresh paid data is pulled only if the token allows refreshes and you confirm the quoted price.

Which clients can connect?

Any MCP client — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others — using a per-account bearer token you create, scoped to all your data or a single project.

Can the MCP connection spend my tokens?

Not without asking. Every read is read-only by design and cannot trigger a paid data pull. A token created as read-only can never spend. If a token allows refreshes, the refresh tools quote the price and your balance first and charge only when you confirm.
